The concepts behind the Les Mis posters were:
- consistent style (combination of srefs 1050::1 5733::2)
- in the foreground the character being featured
- in the background and faded, the motivation for the character

Javert’s feature song in the musical was “Stars”, so I worked those into the shadow of his cloak.
The motivation for the Cosette image was more from the book than the musical.
The Enjolras poster was a last minute addition (while I was printing the other posters) as it felt like I needed an 8th poster, and that his role needed to be recognized.
