During the months of rehearsal of Joseph (both of our younger sons were in it and I was on the set building crew), I started experimenting with using generative AI to create images. The initial foray into this type of graphics was using the Bing Create tool. The tool had some limitations at the time which included a set resolution (1024 x 1024 pixels) and had no ability to iterate on images. This also predated my purchase of Topaz, which uses AI to upscale images (I’m not here recommending that you need to license Topaz). While wondering what I could do with these images, the immediate answer that I arrived at was creating a collage type poster with several images. Many attempts later, I had a bunch of Josephs and chose a selection for the poster.

I also attempted a second poster with different scenes from Joseph’s life. It was an experience and a beginning.
