This spring, the theme of the Grand Winter Ball was “Narnia”. Lori and I were heavily involved doing dance lighting, music visualizations, and “chaperoning” a living slide show that kids could upload pictures to during the dance.
With the slide show, I wanted to pre-load the presentation with a number of images from Narnia so that there was a bunch of content at the start. As kids uploaded images, there was more, but this set of images started it off. Most of the pictures that were created for the initial set were inspired by the book “Voyage of the Dawn Treader”.
Once everything had settled down with the dance (we had some initial technical difficulties, in particular with the battery on my cell phone which was driving the music-synced visualizations), I added additional Narnia content into the slideshow. This is no particular order and covers a wider range of the Narnia books.
And that’s all! (and yes, I overdid it).
